Woodstock Wassail Mulled Cider
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon of Woodstock Wassail Herbal Tea per 2 cups of:
Apple juice, apple cider, red wine, or brandy
** If you are using a full 64 oz. bottle of apple juice or cider, use half of a package of Woodstock Wassail Blend **
** If you are making a more than 64 oz. of liquid, recommend using a full 1 oz. package of Woodstock Wassail Blend **
PREPARATION STEPS:
Place tea in a steeping vessel.
A large stainless steel tea ball works great, disposable tea bags or leave loose in a sauce pan and strain the tea when done simmering.
Simmer on low in a sauce pan for 20-30 minutes or until you achieve desired taste.
The longer you simmer, the deeper the flavor.
Ladle into a cup and garnish with a cinnamon stick, orange slice or fresh cranberries.
